Ordering / Buying online
Prices, payments and deliveries
>> Delivery takes between 3-4 weeks.
- Your Argilla marketer/affiliate will keep you notified of the progress of your order.
- Gift vouchers are available for those last-minute purchases.
- All our product prices include VAT but not delivery costs. We offer free delivery to orders above R2 650.00 p/order. For orders of less than R2 650.00 a standard delivery fee of R160.00 will be added upon checkout. Deliveries are only available within South Africa. Some rural areas have a surcharge on their delivery fee. Your marketer, affiliate or someone from head office will contact you if you fall within these areas.
- Despite our best efforts, it is always possible that a pricing error on our website may occur. If the product you ordered was incorrectly priced we will contact you to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or to cancel the order. Orders will not be processed if there is a pricing error.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Any subsequent purchases of the same product cannot be guaranteed at the same price, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
Description and availability
- While we take the utmost care to ensure that product descriptions, prices, pictures and information are accurate, we do not accept liability for any inaccuracies, errors or omissions.
- Products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of products on our website and marketing material are for illustrative purposes only. If you have any concerns, kindly confirm with your marketer before placing an order.
- Because our products are handmade their sizes may differ slightly. The measurements mentioned on the website and our marketing material are only an indication of what the actual product sizes are. Products will never be exact, not even two of the same products. This is all part of the beauty and uniqueness of Argilla Pottery.
- Some products are only periodically available. These items will not show on the website until it becomes available in stock. Kindly check with your marketer if you have any questions or contact us at 082 822 6653 / info@argillapottery.co.za
Lay-buys
- Normal delivery terms and conditions apply.
- A delivery fee of R160.00 will be added to the total of your order, if your lay-buy order is for less than R2 650.00.
- A full deposit (1st payment) must be made upon receipt of your invoice.
- If you fail to meet the payment requirements of your lay-buy agreement, Argilla Stoneware will cancel said agreement and cancellation fees will apply.
- A grace period of no more than ONE month, may be considered, if arrangements are made in advance. This is however up to the sole discretion of the Argilla Stoneware directors.
- A 20% admin fee, on the full purchase amount, may be charged upon cancellation.
- Upon cancellation, products, less the 20% cancellation (admin) fee, will be granted to the customer to the value of the payment already done.
Refunds and returns
Although Argilla Pottery products are highly durable, we can not offer any type of guarantee because it is still a breakable product. We, therefore, do not allow any refunds or returns. However, should you follow our product care instructions, you should be able to enjoy your products for many years without any problems.
Goods arrived damaged
We take the utmost care to package your order in such a way that it will not get damaged during delivery. On the rare occasion that something might arrive damaged please notify us immediately.
We require the following information to assess where the damage may have occurred:
- a photograph of the outer box, including all labels, tags and stickers.
- a photograph of the inside of the box, including the inner packaging.
- a photograph of the damaged item.
- Please notify us within 48 hours (the sooner the better). Send an email to orders@argillapottery.co.za or phone us at 051 422 4190.
If necessary we will arrange for the product to be collected from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will replace the product at no cost to you.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they get damaged during delivery. If you need an exchange please send us an email at orders@argillapottery.co.za. Management will let you know if an exchange would be possible.
Gift Vouchers
For your convenience, we have two types of gift vouchers available. You can either buy a gift voucher for a specific product (and price) or you can buy a gift voucher with a money value of your choice. Vouchers can not be exchanged for cash and no change will be given. Money left over from a money-value gift voucher will either be forfeited or it can be used as a partial payment on another product.
Gift vouchers are normally valid for 60-90 days and can be redeemed at the marketer where it was bought (indicated on the voucher).
Event Tickets
No tickets will be refunded once a booking has been confirmed. You may transfer your ticket to someone else, but please let us know in advance so that we can be prepared to receive him/her/them at the event.
General
- We shall not be liable for any indirect losses you may suffer, including any loss of profit, income or anticipated savings as a result of our failure to comply with these terms or our negligence. We do not exclude or limit our liability to you in any way that would be unlawful to do so.
- We are not liable for any business losses. If products purchased from our website are for commercial, business or re-sale purposes we have no liability to you for any losses including any lost profit, income or revenue, anticipated savings, business, contracts, data, time or for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
- These terms and conditions constitute the entire terms on which we will provide products to you and cancel and supersedes all prior arrangements and representations, whether verbal or written.
- We may amend these terms and conditions from time to time at our discretion without notice to you. Any amends will be made on this website and will supersede any terms and conditions previously published by us.
- No delay or failure by us in exercising or enforcing any of our rights or remedies under these terms and conditions shall operate as a waiver of those rights.
Promotions, competitions and online use
- Please note, that for any competitions or promotions that feature the Argilla Pottery brand, authorisation must be provided. Please email hannari@argillapottery.co.za with full details about the offer/contest.
- The trademarks, business logos, name and promotional rights associated with the Argilla Pottery brand (the intellectual property) are protected under registered trademarks in South Africa and remain strictly reserved.
- The unauthorized use of Argilla Pottery’s intellectual property is strictly prohibited. Please note that the granting of any right to a third party with association with the Argilla Pottery brand is solely within the discretion of Argilla Pottery and its duly authorized representatives. Any infringement, unauthorized publicity or unlawful association with, or use of the Argilla Pottery brand or trademarks will result in urgent legal recourse against the transgressing party.
Popia
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring safe and secure online shopping. We use your personal data to complete your online purchase of the product and to provide additional services (after-sale services, the prevention of fraud and the management of returns). Only with your consent, we may also process your personal data to send you personalized marketing communications. Argilla Pottery uses your personally identifiable information collected on this website primarily for the following purposes;
- to deliver requested goods, services or information.
- to allow you access to restricted areas of the website as appropriate.
- to contact you in response to inquiry forms and submissions.
When opting in to receive correspondence from Argilla Pottery, you consent to receive marketing communications from us electronically in accordance with our privacy policy. These include but are not limited to a monthly newsletter, promotional mailers, invitations to exclusive events, etc.
Non-personal information may be used to;
- analyse and develop a marketing strategy
- determine how you found out about us
- determine your interests in our products and services
- improve our website based upon user data
